Founder's Day at Palm Desert City Hall
Each year HSPD honors visionaries who donate time, talent and energy to better their local city and serve its citizens. Each year a recipient is choosen and honored at the reception. Mini Muster Fire Safety Program
In cooperation with the Riverside County Fire Department (Station #33), Desert Sands Unified School District and the cities of Palm Desert and Indian Wells, HSPD assists in providing fire safety training to 3rd grade students. Mini Muster has been sponsored by the Society for more than 16 years and over 9,500 children have received training. Want to help? Call 760.346.6588
Fall Firehouse Sale
This huge garage sale is held behind the Old Firehouse. Join us and find that great treasure you have been trying to locate, or you may discover something you never knew you needed! It is a fun way to help fund our school tours at the Firehouse for K-2 students attending six elementary schools.
